How much does boarding cost?
£8 per day for the first guinea pig and £4 per day for each additional piggy from the same household. See our Pricing page for worked examples.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, especially for school holidays and bank holidays. We aim to confirm availability within one working day.
Can bonded guinea pigs stay together?
Yes — bonded piggies can stay together where it's suitable. We'll discuss this at booking.
Can you care for nervous guinea pigs?
Absolutely. Nervous piggies set the pace for handling, and we keep things calm and quiet around them.
Do you provide food?
Yes — unlimited hay, fresh water, daily pellets and around 50g of fresh vegetables per piggy per day are included.
Can I bring my own pellets?
Yes, please do. Bringing their usual pellets helps keep their diet consistent.
Can you handle special diets?
Special diets are welcome and can be accommodated by prior arrangement. Please discuss before booking.
Can you give medication?

Do you offer grooming?
Light grooming during the stay is included where appropriate. A dedicated grooming session add-on is coming soon.
Are nail trims included?
Nail trims are offered where appropriate. If a trim is needed during the stay, we'll let you know first.
What happens if my guinea pig becomes unwell?
We observe carefully every day and contact you (or your nominated person) right away. If urgent care is needed, we follow your nominated vet's guidance. We don't diagnose or treat illness — we're attentive carers, not vets.
Can I visit before booking?
Yes, where it's practical. A short pre-visit can be reassuring, especially for first-time owners.
Do you send updates?
We're happy to send a quick update on request. A regular photo update add-on is on the roadmap.
What bedding do you use?
Kiln-dried, dust-extracted wood shavings as standard, with plenty of hay. Paper bedding or noodle mats are available on request.
Do you take rabbits or other animals?
No — we are specialist guinea pig boarders. Caring for guinea pigs only is what keeps the environment calm and cavy-safe.
How do payments work?
Online deposit and full-payment options are coming soon. Until then, we'll confirm payment details when we confirm your booking.
